When my appendix burst I was in the hospital for a week and then at home for 3 more weeks.

I was taken to hospital after a car accident. Company tried to reprimand me for not personally calling in that I wasn’t coming in to work. I was unconscious and spent a week in hospital. I wanted so much to make them pay my hospital bill.

I cannot believe how shortsighted so many managers can be. The girl almost dies and she is only thinking about the schedule?!? I would sue the crap out of the company for this.
