1 year ago, I started a low budget, no filter, co CO2, no chemical fish tank and it has developed into an absolutely beaufiful ecosystem tank!
It all started in October 2023, when i added sand & aquasoil, a piece of hardscape and 4 different plants (e.g. hygrophila & marsh mermaid weed) to my 54L / 14 gallion tank. I added bladder snails, guppy fish and some microfauna from a local pond.
Fast forward one year and the life forms in the tank are doing amazing.
