They are actually D1. They're just FCS and one of the better FCS programs. That said, a one score win over them isn't really anything to brag about if you think you're a legit Power 4/FBS team. It is a good win for an average Power 4/FBS team. But for a legit program that has playoff aspirations, I wouldn't be happy with that win. It was kind of like beating Colorado St last year, even though CSU is FBS. Similiar talent levels though. The legit top 10/CFP programs beat NDSU by several tds.

After watching CU and Utah play yesterday, Utah will destroy CU. Well, as long as they stay healthy. Looking at CU's schedule they're looking like a 5-7 team, 6-6 at best. A bowl should be their goal.
