This is the beginning of my dream build a Cadillac 500. When I was young all I ever wanted to build was a Chevy 454. One day my Dad said “Son you know what would be cool, if you built a Cadillac 500.” That sentence was all I needed to spark my curiosity and from there on I read everything I could on the big block Cadillac platform. I’ve always enjoyed doing things most don’t and who doesn’t love the idea of big cubic inches! This journey has been full of patience and long waiting. I’ve finally got it going. My dream motor will be going in my very first vehicle/truck. My 1988 Chevy C1500. This motor is bored .60 over and full of all kinds of goodies! Cloyes billet roller timing chain & gear, Roller cam, lifters, & rockers, flat top pistons, studded heads worked studded mains, studded rods, Edelbrock intake, high amp alternator, mini high torque starter, high volume water pump, and much much more! The truck will have a built TH400 and a built narrowed 12 bolt rear end! This is just the beginning so stay tuned!
