I think Red Vines has a stronger strawberry taste, but I like twizzlers more. Its more chewy and I like that for some reason.

These were my favorite growing up, the texture always made me happy, it had a lot of good give but i always liked the sweetness. The black licorice ones are great and less sweet!

Twizzlers are not great when it comes to American Licorice. Red Vines are a more known licorice, at least for someone of an older generation. They have a far less mild taste and feel softer. Though people say it has a strawberry taste, I don't get that from Red Vines; it's a sort of unique taste. A thing a lot of Americans do with licorice like Red Vines is to chew a hole on the bottom and top and drink a soda out of it because Red Vines usually are sold in movie theaters.

America has a lot of great sour candy, but I don't think anyone loves Twizzlers. The strawberry ones (and cherry too) are super bland. They're a movie theater candy for when you want to eat something but not think about it.
The sour twizzlers are a lot better because they actually have interesting flavor.
Do they have Skittles or Starburst in Japan? Those are both popular candies and I think everyone would agree they're a lot better than Twizzlers.

Twizzlers are sort of like a red licorice I think. I personally like Red Vines better; the texture isn't as good in my opinion but it has a better flavor and they're completely hollow so you can use them as a straw a little easier.
