having both i can say that both is good, rappa is very useful for farming materials and pure fiction. As for firefly: she's better on bosses and single enemies
With that said, pull for what you want or you need, the choice is yours

She is not better than Firefly especially becauae she is an erudition its not about the path but the consistency. Destruction is always consistent no matter if its a single target or 3 target even at 5 target Destruction is still good for it, aslong its not PF, and also she really dependant on her ult, an enemy that has her weakness, Ruan mei. Even tho her ult kit ignore weakness but its not better than implant (Kalpagni goes wild with fire type unit and Firefly implant) so the conclusion is rappa is better than Firefly in PF, multi target APOC and her own MOC (2.6 MOC) but once its not her stage for marketing she will fall behind.

Also rappa benifits more than FF when you can break ennemies multiple times in a row (with her broken 50% buff/break), so you could say she is very advantaged over FF by the current moc rotation.

I pulled rappa at 10 pity raised her up to level 80 and level 8 traces and now i don't regret putting her in my team's bench as benchwarmer 😅

Firefly need Ruan mei and HmC as fixed teammates
Rappa only need HMC as fixed teammates ( Ruan mei is not necessary )
Boothill have no fixed teammates as he doesn’t really need super break

In the MoC Firefly is still the better choice cause she can get rid on the side Mobs while also getting rid on the main boss

Ok imma be honest Neither are better then each other, they both specialize in there own unique way, Rappa was made for super break comps or full on aoe break, Firefly being able to target 3 enemies while implanting fire to break easily is amazing, I would they are both equal, but Rappa only doe’s slightly slight more dmg due her buff stacks is all, I say Equal terms imo! Mind you Rappa is Erudition and Firefly is Nihility so they got different kits lol
