Well this just goes to show how weak our transfer window was then. If a player like Odegaard is out and we have no replacements except for Trossard and Nwaneri who Arteta clearly doesn't even trust in those roles yet, and keeps on having to play Havertz out of position.
I really hope Edu pissing off is a good thing.

We should’ve kept Smith Rowe. He is the perfect replacement for Odegaard. I completely agree with Graham. He is spot on

The problem at arsenal is they’re lacking chances from the central areas and havertz as striker is only short term fix in the back end of last season. What’s important is getting back up for odegaard as he used to take long range shot & creating from central areas hence why nwaneri should be starting games more as he can create his own chances or for others in central areas. If arteta is reluctant to start nwaneri then he should try using jesus as his close control and shot taking is amazing and useful in the central areas. Getting another striker still won’t fix this problem as we see happening with city now as haaland is having a dry spell without de bruyne and rodri taking and creating chances in central areas. The slump will continue if this problem isn’t solved soon

Biggest issue 4 me was not Havertz . It was letting ESR and Vieria go as attacking midfielders and not replace them

Let's be honest last year we got away with not playing an out and out striker with Havertz playing the false 9 role this year switching him back into midfield playing trossard as the false 9 proves just how much we need a striker and the disappointment of last year was clearly down to not having a proven number 9

Spending what we've spent, and still needing about 3/4 quality attacking players is a bit wild.

This is what you call rose tinted glasses. Link up with jesus was all good until you remember its him in front of goal wasting 5 chances. Osimhen was free that tw*t Edu could of got him and he would be so much better than Havertz and Jesus combined. Always excuses tho he was free begging for a move thats why he went to only club that wanted him late on Galatasary

With these sets of players, Arsenal should forget about winning the league this season. Arsenal doesn't deserve to win the league without a proper striker and a good finisher on the field.

There is lots we could have done in odegaard absence. Jesus is completely out of form and lacking confidence. He could have started a few games as the 9 with harvitz. Martenilli hasn’t been great. No composure. Jesus could also played more on the left position his used to. Zeno is our most creative midfielders. His not a left back. He could have played left mid with rice in a deeper dm role. Having 4 cb is great for defensive side but they are not overlapping enough or creating enough. Ben white is a super star so we get away with it on the right but on the left without Zeno we have nothing going forward. Timber is amazing but his a defender only. If we take out out set piece goals we don’t create or score enough. The system won’t win anything. We don’t need a striker. Harvitz is as good or better than anyone we could buy. If we get down to 10 men leave a counter attacking threat on the pitch or a way to get up the pitch so the defence can have a rest. Our 10 men game plan is suicidal and should only be used by teams from lower end of the league. It’s insane. Arsenal have become boring to watch. As an opposition team I would be able to set up v arsenal with my eyes closed. Dbl up on saka sit deep and counter quick.
