When the Bible says lean, not on your own understanding it doesn’t mean how to interpret, or understand God‘s presence. It means listen to the quotes and verses that the Bible has to share, and not lean on your own worldview understandings. It has nothing to do with how to interpret God, but everything with how to interpret God‘s teachings. Love thy neighbor for example, it’s easy to not love certain people based off your own world view but according to Gods words it’s the right thing to do.
