Your logic is flawed on this one. You could say what he said at ANY speed, fast or slow. Also, no highway speed can appropriately respond to a dead stop vehicle out of nowhere. Ford Edge at complete fault.

Quit trying to be ugolord because you’re wrong anyways. He said “that’s why I’m not blazing through here” meaning he’s not driving fast. He was still driving an appropriate speed so the only person at fault is the car that pulled out. Any logical person/police officer/judge isn’t putting the dashcan driver at any fault

He was stating that he was not driving fast, and while your required to keep a reasonable distance in case the car ahead of you breaks suddenly that doesn’t apply to cars making a sudden and illegal turn into your lane while braking.
