Miss this show already can’t believe it’s already been 2 years since this great night. It definitely was and still is one of my favorite concerts. The strokes give me so meaning in my life, because for a long time in life I was pretty unhappy with where I was at in life. However on one faithful day before waiting to go into a shift for work. I poppped on “Is This It” and that’s when I knew the strokes were my favorite band. I’ve been dying to see The Strokes for years, they’re my favorite band, hands down. Almost had the opportunity to see them at the Gov. Ball back in 2016 (seeing as they tour rather sporadically and kinda all over the place, NYC isn’t far from my home Massachusetts) and I was gonna drive to the concert. Problem was it was the day of my HS graduation and family made a big fuss to come to that so I couldn’t slip away. Now I’m in the Marines, stationed in California, just getting back from deployment, and I’ll be taking leave during this Christmas/New Years. About to buy the tickets the minute my leave gets approved so I can finally go see them, I’m so excited!
