This is not entirely accurate.
Ben is strongly implying that the Jewish position is that a fetus is considered equal in status to a human life and that, therefore, the pro-choice argument has no place in Judaism.
In fact, the Talmud teaches us that a fetus is not considered to be of equal status to a baby outside the womb.
This does not mean that Ben is necessarily wrong about it being a rabbinical decision rather than a woman's individual choice, but it does mean that a rabbi might well consider a woman's feelings/psychological well-being before issuing his ruling as to whether an abortion should be allowed which would not be the case if the baby has already been born.

I completely agree with the Ben. Since when did any one have the right to choose arbitrarily on someone else’s right to life simply based on convenience or status in life? Also, if it’s a “my body my choice” situation, then the father may justifiably state it’s his body, his choice not to exert effort for another person’s wellbeing. I.E. provide for ones children, but that’s never been on the table (rightly so).
