I went backwards these last few weeks, a lot. It was wonderful. It taught me how to shed shame, external values conditioning, and to surrender my ego. I'm now more heart and soul present 10 fold. And I owe it all to failing standards. What was advertised as a foundation, was revealed to be a cage of deception. Makes me feel like we're not meant to pass tests successfully, but fail them miserably, then reflect upon them and ourselves with loving grace. To experience the splendour of compassion, one must first have some suffering to be compassionate towards.
