I highly doubt that Shanks was the one that fought Kid. I believe it was Lime Juice or Snake.
If Shanks fought Kid, both arms from Kid or worst would have happend...

Nope, he's talking about Sabo (he has a burn mark in his eye). Kidd probably found out Sabo is now on the run due to what happened in the reverie and he's trying to find him. On the previous panel, Kidd says they will be enemies from the moment they leave Wano, which I think is probably foreshadowing for the fact he won't give af about the fact Sabo is Luffy's brother when he tries to find him. I also think it's foreshadowing because while LAW offered them the poneglyph because he believed an honorable man would not start their competition with an advantage, Kidd is not honorable, especially if you consider the fact he built a reputation prior to reaching Sabaody due to the fact he's extremely cruel and would even harm civilians. Law is honorable and will ultimately be an ally to Luffy but Kidd is not

You can't possibly just assuming Kid and Killer have to go after Shanks just because Shanks declares to get the One Piece?
What we know as a reader is different as the characters, you know.
They don't know Shanks say that line and don't know that Shanks know how to get One Piece because they are at different locations in the story LMAO

Not likely. Nobody but Shanks and his crew knows they’re getting serious on the one piece. And im not sure but in one of these chapters didn’t he say he wasn’t gonna go after shanks anymore? Also he’s not ready and knows it seeing as it took him and law to beat big mom and we know shanks is at least on big moms level (I believe he’s stronger) him and killer probably wouldn’t even be enough for lucky roo or ben beckman

I think that the man who is marked with the flames is the 10th Commander of the Blackbeard pirates. I also think that he is the same one to which Shanks spoke of, when he wanted to talk to the five elders about a certain pirate.
Coincidentally in One piece manga 823 the revolutionary dragon HQ was destroyed by Blackbeard and his crew, while Luffy lost Sanji because of an arranged marriage with pudding. Luffy tries to cook but set the sunny on fire by his carelessness. This is a long shot but I think One piece manga 823 is foreshadowing the Man Mark with flames to be a chef, the 10th Commander of the Blackbeard pirates is a chef.

It was my very first thought aswell, when I read the chapter based on the exact same assumptions. I think it is a solid little theory although when I heard about Aokiji I thought that it sounded way better (or someone from Ohara)

I think it’s dragon because marked by flames means like dragons re tattoo which probably represents fire so which would make since to over power the revolutionary army and the most wanted man which would make kid probably the most wanted person alive at that time which would bring more fear on his name and would make it easier to found and get the one piece

I don't think so. As for the picture of shanks surrounded by flames, it could just be a foreshadowing of his powers. They also said they got to be serious about that guy. I am sure they did not fight shanks before while not being serious. Also the translation could be "having a burn OR scar that looks like fire". As for shanks announcing he is going to claim one piece, Kidd did not hear that. Shanks just said that to his crew. The man marked by flames could be a guy who can read the poneglyphs. I dont think anyone in Kids crew can read it.

sabo, aokiji, gaban, and dragon seem to be good candidates as they all have burn scars except gaban which is speculation
