It took 30 years of oral tradition before someone atarted to write the stories down.
Jesus was a common name back then in the region.
Do you think it might be possible that the stories got embellished a little? Or maybe stories from different preachers got mixed together under a common name during those 30 years?

The problem is if there was more than one Jesus back then, how do you keep track of which one was real? Especially since there are multiple instances where Jesus outright refuses to do miracles for skeptics.

He was saying people claimed to be like Jesus not that there were accounts of people claiming to be a man named Jesus; they claimed to be miracle workers with out prior knowledge of someone actually being able to preform miracles they didn't know there was a guy named Jesus they knew of the word miracles and were like yeah I can do those. He was using the name Jesus as a substitute for a man who can create miracles

Judging by the comments here, I see people are living a lavish life. If you're from where I'm from and the things we see, you'd think people are insane for not believing.
In this situation, it's no longer about believing but knowing for a fact bt can't really understand fully!
