I think, Trans women is a type of women. It isn't the same as women. It's more the sense that female is the sex term, trans women are a different type then females are, but they are more feminine. On a scale of man or woman, they are woman. On a scale of male or female, they are trans women. It's its own special box. Just like intersex is in it's own box, though it has a lot of categories too.

Woman is the social role. It's what society is expecting. But it's also about self identification. For instance, a tomboy is still a women. This only changes if the person doesn't identify as women anymore. If they dress and appear to the eye as a man, they'd be more on the man side of the scale than the woman, but if you talked to them and they told you they were a woman, that's what you'd accept. You wouldn't then ask for their biological sex. Why would you want that information?

If your answer is 'what if they're a predator' then you need therapy. Anyone can do harm to others. When you think you know it all, that's when you'll get tripped up. Assume = ass out of you and me.

For more details, there is a gingerbread man diagram about gender identity, too. You can give that a quick google for a really good infographic. Simple to read and hopefully to digest too. But most LGBTQIA+ members are happy to answer respectful questions.

As an additional point, we can bring up the LGBTQIA+ and their different genders. For instance, a demigirl identifies as more woman than man. Their gender (man and woman scale) has nothing to do with their biological sex (male or female scale with the trans and intersex additions and more). A non-binary person may dress on the woman scale and be a biological female. But they identify as non-binary. They have their own mix of traits they're aiming for. Like someone androgynous, or someone looking for a certain job or position in society, someone getting their hair dyed, even a stay at home Mum versus a working woman. They are all just different types of people, some identifying as woman and some not, trying to live their best lives the way they feel most comfortable, health and happy. Trans woman identify as woman. So they could be a working woman, or a stay at home Mum, or something else. Even though they aren't biologically female. They are still women.

Many trans woman feel pressured to bend over backwards to be treated as an equal member of society. The standards for them to fit in are so high, and they are singled out for any trait unfitting of women. Most woman don't even reach for that standard. Their gender or biological sex doesn't even matter. Their comfort does. They should be able to feel safe. Everybody should live in a world that is safe, where they have what they need to live well. And trans people don't get that, when they are singled out by harsh political laws and bills taking their safety away from them.

Trans rights is one phrase. But it's the phrase telling us that trans people are getting done awfully, and left behind. The true phrase is equality for all, safe and healthy lives that people get to choose to alter without fear of danger to their person (mental, physical, ECT). That's what we should all be working for.
