Somtimes Ill install a dcc and sound chip but force stop the decoders prime mover sounds and just leaves the horn, bell, and other accessories on! The best of both worlds!

I totally get the hype behind brass models. Something special about holding an all metal choo choo that’s the same age as your parents and can in some cases pull more than anything else out there.
