Let’s say he was the true ultimate life form in SA2. The games story could not only be about shadows history with Gerald and Maria but a link to the biolizard. The reason the biolizard would be locked up was because of his ultimate life form status. Shadow would just beat him to take the title of the true ultimate life form

This was Gerald’s original plan actually. But humanity would never accept a giant reptile. That’s why he made shadow a mammal. Because our corrupt species only usually cares about things that resemble humans or are humans. Plants and reptiles (my favorite creatures) are tortured and abused. That’s what the biolizard exists to prove. I suppose zelkova was the martyr for plants and trees, biolizard the martyr for reptiles and metal the martyr for the future of abused AI. Shadow could be the martyr for mammals I suppose. And Maria the martyr for humanity.
