Not even The Police members consider it a good song. It was just a filler. Summers told it in a documentary. Even more, you don't need to be a Rush fan to tell between good music and bad music, just need to be unbiased. Besides, The YYZ Exit Stage Left version (including drum solo) is considered the best 80's drumming recording.

Of course, YYZ should have won. No question. But I must admit that I really like Behind My Camel. It‘s one of my favourite Police songs.
