Isn't that system also present in Diamond? I reached Diamond 4 and stopped playing for a month or two and ended up decaying back to Emerald 1

It doesnt reset your MMR so it doesnt really matter and if ur higher master the decay is very slow.

actually thats the reason why I dont play anymore. I hit challenger and playing was like an obligation, instead of hobby.

Tbh it is a good system 1 league game a day isn’t that big of a deal + you wont be as good if you don’t play frequently(if this system didnt exist someone can just hit master and leave it at that then start again in a few months and yes that makes a difference)
