I remember being a fat kid. I got on a ride once and it was taking a while to get the green light on it. As a ride attendant started walking down the aisle, I thought they were going to ask me to get off…but he walked right past me and asked a much larger girl to get off the ride instead. Even though I wasn’t asked to get off, it pushed me to work on myself.
I’m now smaller and healthier than I was back then, I would’ve cried if I’d been asked to get off as I’m a huge thrill seeker. It’s a huge weight off my chest (pun intended) to just get on a ride and know I’m not putting anyone in danger with my size.
