It is time for another round of adventures, experimenting with dark new-age ambient chillout music with the Underestimated (Ambient Remix). The trip hop band Nikki Oniyome is warming with this to release new singles and music this year. Stay tuned for some more «installation pop» (Super World Indie Tunes), «strangely beautiful and strangely twisted» (Your Dead Partner), and «captivating with unusual sounds, weird ideas and a successful production» (Global Music Magazine).
Nikki Oniyome is a Norwegian Oslo-based trip hop and folktronica band, the heart child of songwriter, vocalist and guitarist Lisa Canelinha, bass player Vebjørn Axelsen, and producer Jørgen Skjulstad (aka Center of the Universe).
Part of the independent label and music collective Metronomicon Audio, consisting of a wide range of artists and affiliates which together aim to promote new and interesting music. Metronomicon Audio started in 2001. As of today the community has produced 100 releases. Among these we find in addition to a lot of CDR and CD and vinyls, even more obscure formats such as circuit boards and USB sticks.
