Kirk seems like a decent likable guy. He’s a good QB who doesn’t take too many risks. This leads you to good stats and good money. After years of Cousins in MN, I preferred a QB who would take risks and let his receivers make plays. Give me a qb with 40 tds and 15 pics who will allow his playmakers the ability to make plays over a guy who throws 30 tds and 5 pics who plays conservatively Kirk appeared to start doing that before he was injured. Kirk isn’t a guy that’s going to be the main reason you lose games. He’s also not going to be the main reason a team wins games. Wish him the best. I’d like to see a decent human being like him succeed.

You're right he's a franchise QB, the problem is whatever franchise he's qb'ing isn't going to win a Lombardi let alone a playoff game. Kirk Cousins puts up stats and earns a LOT of money, but he doesn't win important games and doesn't make a team a Superbowl contender. He's 8 games above .500 for his career and has 1 playoff win in 12 years. Hell TJ Yates has more playoff wins than Cousins and he was never even a full time starter, Nick Foles has more playoff wins and he hasn't been a full time starter since 2015 and hasn't been in the league since 2022. I'm actually quite impressed at what cousins has done, getting the most amount of money without winning more than 1 wild card game and being just above equal win/loss record for his career, and now with ATL, gonna make $100 Million and will be lucky to make the playoffs coming off an Achilles injury. WILD!!!

Minnesota was drafting a QB in either this draft or the next to sit there and act surprised is beyond me. He’s closer to 40 than he is to 30 he signed a contract that has him playing till he’s 40 he’s coming off of a significant injury that ends careers in some cases. All on top of the fact that he was signed by the Vikings to do what? Win the Super Bowl, last I checked we’re still 0-4 and he didn’t even play in a conference championship game with the team.
