It is hard to say something about Project Brutality because I love it, it is really well done, tons of weapons, new enemies, but with time I want something else but didn't find something as huge as PB and after some time return to the PB, I understand why people say its trash, but everyone has got his own opinion and I think it's more than fine and has got its place to be in doom society, however I wish it was more challenging.

Idk as an og doomer that's been playing since 93 I still love it, I do agree with the part about the flood of mod videos that basically do the same thing with reshade and hd graphics/lighting everyday, it was cool the first couple times but I get annoyed at the amount of new ones I see on my feed daily. That's why I like your channel, it's an actual mod showcase as apposed to videos that say it's a top ten mod video but just show you a bunch of overhauls and map megawads that people have already put in videos 20 times over, your videos more fit what people do when showcasing mods for Bethesda titles, which I prefer outa my doom mod videos.

Actually, most of the videos You mentioned (And the one used as background footage) are Brutal Doom Black Edition, while yes many of these also use Project Brutality, most have turned to LitDoom, Project Brutality is not overrated, just overused.

In my opinion, yes and no, PB is indeed a very cool mod with beautiful sprites and animations, mechanics, etc.
But it could be better (if only it was a little more optimized with more graphical options to customize and thus prevent crashes), I agree with what you said (although I like the mod), there are many incredible mods to play, not doom if you return to just BD and PB(i prefer more BD).

I agree, anything brutal doom related is overrated, its fun for the first 2 hours of gameplay but gets boring fast, it feels like depression while playing brutal doom.

Brutal Doom/Project Brutality ended up becoming "Doom for those who don't play Doom"
and a lot of people who watch those Project Brutality videos that get 100s of thousands of views have never played the mod (or Doom in general) but like to watch the gameplay.
I can admit that after a while BD/PB becomes more fun to watch than to play..

PB just shot everyone with its looks and arsenal. If's fun to use, nothing else does matter.
It's free to modify, free to use.
That's why it's over popular these days. You just getting some fan mods that allow you to play.
Other mods are just... Just mods.
Project Brutality says it for itself: it's merciless, badass. You got a ONE MAN ARMY arsenal, or even more. You also can equip your ally-marines with almost any kind of weapon you use.
PB goes extremely good with visor mods. And bloom. It just takes your mind to watch or play it.
I know that there's other cool mods. But PB just got popular by varieties of mods. At least I think so, could be wrong about that.

I mean, I might get that, but I still love it. Boot it up with Extermination Day for PB/EDAY PB edition (yes, that kind of a thing exists) and you will be in for a wild ride.
