Somen noodles are very thin white noodles made from wheat flour.
During summer season, Japanese people often make somen noodles at home.
We put somen in a bowl of icy water and dip it in a special sauce, mainly made from bonito and kelp soup stock with soy sauce.
(Actually there's a variety of flavor for somen sauce)
And we usually prepare some toppings such as vegetables, meat and seafood.
Somen went down so smoothly that It was perfect for summer!
