Can you use Blu Tack like an eraser??

In our test with it, it can work similarly to a kneaded eraser but you'll probably need to dirty it up a bunch to make it less sticky so it doesn't interact poorly with your thin or loose fiber papers.
They have REALLY similar ingredients if you look at their labels but the quantities of those things make a huge difference to their intended use.

Do YOU use Blu Tack as an eraser? What have your results been?

I also use something similar to blue tack, its not as good as a kneaded eraser, but it can blur the entire page so that i can sketch on it again, and thus making my lines less messy lol

I once purchased some cheap kneaded erasers, but they didn't work that well. I added a bit of blue tack in them, worked the two together well and the results actually worked.

If you use white playdoh you can get interesting shading patterns.

I haven't tried sticking anything onto anything else with a putty eraser, but it's never struck me as a material that you could potentially do that with. Very similar, but not quite the same.

I once tried the opposite, and used kneading eraser as blu tack and it also falls short as a replacement. So I think I get the curiosity.

In my family we don't erase. The dishonor to our lineage would be unbearable.

When I was a kid and I knew blue tack could erase a little it was revolutionary lol

So once again, the collective intelligence of the comment section displays its room temperature IQ. Stay classy, internet.
