I was admitted and given an epidural because my midwife said I was 8 cm.
She was getting off shift and the next midwife came in and took me off the epidural and sent me home because she said I wasn’t even 2 cm.
It was an awful experience. I wish they would’ve practiced this a little bit more. I ended up having 4 ob midwives fighting over how dilated I was. It cost me a lot of money and a lot of heartache.

Im beyond grateful for nurses. I met my Dr as he was walking in to tell me to push. Thank God I'd been around my nurse all night. I normally like to shake hands or exchange names before someone manhandles & sews my vagina back together😅

lol this explains why when I went in with my second, the check in person said “how far along do you think you are?” Which I thought was weird in itself lol but the triage nurse said I was a 7 almost 8. I was like “‘scuse me??” lol then like an hour or two later someone said “nah you’re a 5 stretch to 6”. I was thinking isn’t this supposed to be standard?!!!? Something they all know?!
