I use my Irish yard walking stick it's strong heavy lead filled walking stick great balance and been using a cane for years for my bad knee and broken foot Jones fracture. Still using it passed down from my great uncle . A good cane can be a great friend

Just mention it is a medical device, they can not deny your cane. If they do, they have to provide one that meets their 'standards'.

It's better than nothing and most people won't want to get within the attack radius of that thing buying you a way out of an otherwise violent conflict. You better make that first swing count though because of you miss, they're gonna take that thing from you and you're gonna be in a real bad spot.
