That's a unique way to help recycle most of the glass bottles i keep saving up. Since i live on an island in the Caribbean, we have no access to obsidian or other hard stones capable of being naped and shaped, i can use all, if not most of my glass for shaping arrow heads. I'm an avid hunter as well, so bushcraft is an essential trait i must hone and improve. Thanks for sharing, Donny. Please keep up the great work, and thanks for teaching us about important paleoarchaeology.

A true master at their craft. I've tried making points from the bottom of beer bottles and always failed miserably. Love your content Donny.

Cool video DONNIE. Glass was my first go to before I had access to areas where I could find chert. Mostly old broken t.v. screens and bottle bottoms. Thanks for sharing.

I truly feel that glass will be prevalent in most places...(you know what I'm saying) this is definitely a skill that I must learn, if not master!

Dude i learn a lot of really useful things from you... i just got a small piece of land with an old abandoned house from the early 1900s on it, out behind it is their old trash pile with tons of old broken glass jar and bottle bottoms... i have been wanting to kearn how to knap and someone told me glass was really good practice, now i know how to start. Thank you

That was cool, Donny! Any chance of testing and perhaps comparing it with a stone arrowhead? Thanks for sharing

Unreal work!! always so impressive. I’ve been attempting obsidian blades but don’t trust myself without glasses any time soon, what’s the best way to limit pieces flying back at you?
