It was 80 degrees here last night dude. It may work some places, but not everywhere

Cool but not buried deep enough to keep cool in west coast America especially with our hot summer nights. Maybe in the mountains.

Modern products like thos always use named that are inaccurate. Without active cooling this thing will be a bit above soil temperatures. At these depths in summer that is not low enough to store nearly anything you couldn't simply store in a cupboard on the ground floor.
This is a 15k "ventilated burried shed"
And should be named "ground shed" not fridge

Omg people discovered storing food underground. In Ukraine it is common knowledge

Really just reinventing things we did in the middle ages and acting like it's groundbreaking new technology

A very neat invention.
I don’t know that it would work too well where I live though. Florida is my home and if you dig down a few feet you’ll hit water. It rains a lot here, the water table is high just about everywhere in the state and humidity levels are real high.

Looks greate at first, but i simply will myself bury a long pipe to aerate with cool air an insulated box inside my home with fresh air, rather that having some expensive and stagnant waterproof box full of food inside...

Where I am from those are usually made out of brick, we call them "root cellars"!

Around here deep caves are 56 degrees F.
A pod buried just a few feet underground in our 100 degree F summer heat would be much warmer than 56 degrees which is already 20 degrees about standard refrigerator temperature. So yeah. This would be totally useless in almost any location not close to one of the earth’s poles.

Even in cool climates you are lucky if ground temps stay below 55 degrees, let alone 40 degrees where food shoud be stored.

Great idea if it was able to be affordable for most people
