i don’t think that Mike let anyone down. obviously Jake or whoever was gonna win. he’s young and tbh i think it was staged. “I’d kill you, Mike.” Is so disrespectful. Especially to a pretty much retired, 58 year old boxing champion. Mike is getting old, and it is so upsetting to see a HeavyWeight champion of the world cry. You can even hear his voice break during the interview. Love this man to death.
EDIT: y’all are getting so heated just because I’m talking about it being disrespectful that JAKE PAUL. A 27 YEAR OLD MAN, CHALLENGING A 58 YEAR OLD. 31 YEAR AGE GAP! Mike Tyson was announced retired in 2005. How would you literally feel if someone challenged you after you were retired from your best sport? Disrespected.
EDIT 2: Changing the whole thing, but just found out that Mike Tyson was landing very hard and aggressive towards Jake. And once Jake clenched onto Mike, he whispered. “Cool it.” And the agreement Mike showed was him tapping Jake on the back.
