Microsoft is introducing a consumption model for Windows Server 2025, allowing you to run virtual machines and even physical machines connected to Azure Arc on a pay-as-you-go basis, similar to Azure, but within your own data centres.

While the exact cost is unknown until release, we can estimate based on SQL Server with Azure Arc pricing.
