True Crime

The Devil Made Me Do It | True Crime

Have you heard about the chilling case that inspired The Conjuring movie, "The Devil Made Me Do It"? On February 16, 1981, Arne Cheyenne Johnson brutally stabbed his landlord, Alan Bono, 20 times during a heated argument. But this wasn’t just any murder; it followed a disturbing exorcism involving Johnson's girlfriend’s younger brother, David Glatzel, who claimed to be possessed by a demon. During the exorcism, Johnson reportedly challenged the demon to take him instead of David. Soon after, his behavior became erratic, ultimately leading to the tragic stabbing. In court, Johnson’s defense attempted to argue demonic possession, but the judge dismissed it. On November 24, 1981, he was convicted of first-degree manslaughter and sentenced to 10 to 20 years, though he served just five for good behavior. Do you believe in the power of exorcisms? Why or why not? Let us know in the comments by watching our full video.

I DO believe in exorcism but I also believe that people can open themselves up to possession if the "play" around with demonic things or activities thereby inviting demons into their lives, homes

I think the devil is alive and does use people for evil.
But i also think some people are inherently evil, and they use the devil as an excuse to commit awful acts that they dont want to take responsibility for.

This mess about “Good behavior “ is such BS !!! U didn’t get in there for “good behavior “ did u !?!? I don’t understand it. If he was crazy enough to try and claim demons made him do it then he doesn’t need to be out . We all know better than that but he still isn’t well enough to be walking the streets.

I've read in the Bible that the evil one is controlling the whole world and that friendship with the world is being an enemy with God. You don't believe that either. I hear Christian say all the time that God is in control and preachers, preach on how to get along in this world, money is such a blessing and how they are supposed to give it to them. Money is the root of all evil. I know you are going to say the love of money is. Regardless, America is a country belt on money. If you don't believe in the Devil then you think America is great.

It’s people like this which are the reason devil gets such a bad wrap. He wanted to stab someone so what did he do, blame it on good old Lucifer.
