Yes it’s much easier to use thinner sections of your hair

To prevent breakage, knots, ripping, pulling, and frizziness, use smaller sections, twist the hair at the root before hooking, and then pinch the top open when removing. Hope this helps!

I have these things and you have to press the top open by pinching the sides, that way ur hair doesn't get ripped out. Also, I use wayy thinner sections but I guess my hair is more fine so I don't run out of those things

Just braid your hair in like 7 braids or more depending on the amount of hair you have, (do this while it’s wet), the tighter the braid the more crimpy it will be. Wear them overnight and then you can leave it how it is or brush it.

When you are pulling the hair through the wave formers, you should pinch the top where the rubber is. This helps the hair go through without pulling or breaking. It helps a lot. Ok, love from Cali 💛

Just a little tip! I have those and the curl version and it helps a ton if you twist the sections and hook from underneath! Blow this up so she can see it and get help!!!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

When I used these I kind of had to twist my hair around the threader, it helped. Definitely had to pinch the top part open too.
