— this wasn’t easy :( Debated posting this as we actually just made it personally to help cope with her loss, but we don’t want her story to never be told. For her life and her passing to go unnoticed.

Abuela was fourteen years old and if you live in Bali you may recognize her as she lived in the parking lot of Batu Bolong beach. We got a report and immediately found her in horrific condition. People told us she has been like this for weeks however none of them actually stopped to help her or even comfort her. Abuela’s owners chose to pretend that they had never even seen her before 🥺😔

She deserves so much better. When we got her to the vet they let us know that she has cancer that has spread to her lungs. She could no longer stand, sit, pee, or defecate on her own and her body couldn’t fight any longer. In her final moments she was shown unconditional love. The sad lifeless dog we found could now be at peace and she even gave a little smile at the end 😭🤍🕊️

In Abuela’s honor, please give your pups extra love today. Please feed a stray, bring a sick dog to the vet, or donate to help dogs in need because Abuela’s life should not go unnoticed 🤍 Her ceremony has jusg finished and we hope she feels honored and respected 👼🏽
