I’ve had a rwd v8 for two winters now in WV, as long as I keep momentum and make my own paths I’m good, I’ve only been stuck once in 7 inches of snow, getting into my gf’s fwd Chevy cobalt made me appreciate getting rwd, her winter tires are worse than my all seasons

All right, but you should let ppl know that the taycan weighs 2300 kg while a regular car is 1500 kg, and weight helps with the grip, it pushes the tires down. Also, I believe the taycan has wider tires.

Bro, this aint a fair test. The reason why the mini cooper beat the bmw is because of the weight and engine. The bmw is between 1600 kg to 1700 kg and the mini is 1200 kg. Usualy engines don't change the outcome, but since this guy is full throttling all the cars it does, the bmw is a v6 with about 2.5 L the mini is an i4 (in-line 4) with about 1.8 L

My fwd with all seasons can get up that with no slip easy, I go up the mountain in the snow with it, but I make sure to only do it with nobody behind me just in case, I think it being a manual helps

UK should adapt to winter tyres too. I know for a fact that cheap all season tyres are really bad for snow

I got a RWD. I drive in the snow all the time with regular all-season tires. The trick is momentum and don't follow tire tracks. Tire tracks are where the snow is already compacted and it's now a sheet of ice. Snow gives slightly better traction. What's more important is momentum. Back up and give yourself some room to build speed and carry it all the way and don't let up.
