I dont use band, i just shave the back of the goboard and drop it right on the pan with sealant under and behind

If you HAVE TO marry a fiberglass shower pan with tile walls - mind you, I never would personally - then this is what a contractor would need to do. Most won’t/don’t.

That lip on the pan looks the same as a tub flange, how come no flashing tape ?

Nobody does new home build showers like this. Drywall then tile.😂😂😂.0Shower pan is pre molded fiberglass. You pay big money to get showers done this way and its not a plumber that does

Good job, but it would be better to use stainless steel screws, along with washers. I'm not sure if that's tile adhesive, but a waterproof liquid membrane is more suitable for applying that waterproof joint material.
