This item contains 480 pieces. Once this Avenger is assembled, it will measure 19cm or 7.48 inches in height, which is a reasonable size I think.
From reading the introduction in the build instruction guide, it appears this Iron Man helmet is not based on one particular version of the Iron Man suit, but rather than a combination of the best loved suits. I don’t have a problem with that, but some people have criticised some so-called inaccuracies with the helmet.
