I'm a big Bama fan but he isn't a hidden gem. He was by far our best jump ball guy and Milroe is obsessed with the deep ball so he gets a lot of opportunities. Bond was by far the better receiver last year.

When you are Mr. Dependable your team looks for you on 3rd and short. Yards per attempt is not a true measure of success in a WR. If you really think Marvin Harrison Jr isnt the best WR at wvery aspect to come out of the NCAA since JJ and Chase youre out of your fucking mind and just trying to be different for clicks.

NO IT DOESNT.
What a player does, STATISTICALLY in college doesn't equate to what he'll do STATISTICALLY/STRATEGICALLY in the pros.
Different system, Different talent levels, different QB, Different rules...all lead to an inability to realistically extrapolate purely on statistics or metrics.
What we can do is use a player's skill-set to estimate how he will fare..
Speed
Hands
Routes
Toughness
Adjustments
Body Control
Foot Placement
These are transferable characteristics that should be used to evaluate potential.
