Ingredients
Besan flour - 1 cup
Sugar - 1 cup
Water - 1/4 plus 1 TBSP
Ghee (adjust) - 1/2 to 3/4 cup
Method
1. Sieve the besan flour to remove any lumps. Add to a pan and dry roast until aromatic. Keep on low to medium flame.
2. Remove from heat. Set aside.
3. Next, add the sugar and water to a pan. Let the sugar dissolve fully. Keep on low flame.
4. Meanwhile, melt the ghee in pan or microwave. Add it to besan flour. Mix well and make sure there are no lumps.
5. Then, add the sugar syrup to the bream flour mixture. Mix well and make sure the batter is smooth.
6. Finally, brush a little bit of ghee to a container. Add the besan mixture and smooth out gently.
7. Let it sit for 1.5 to 2 hours to set fully.
8. Remove from the container. Cut into desired shape.
9. Ghee Mysore Pak is ready. Enjoy!
