Yes indeed. Triangles are technically the strongest shape for weighted loads as they don't deform typically like other shapes, and thus we can see weight and strain distribution as he's hanging off of the truss keeping him elevated. Webbing in a truss will also help with the breaking issues by improving rigidity in the frame of it too. Also, in larger buildings and bigger roof spans, trusses are calculated to have a Camber in them where the timber is pre-bent or bowed if you will and then assembled. This helps compensate for roofing material loads as well as in some cases, snow loads or - in general - where excessive weights can burden the trusses.
