Apple Vision Pro employs a tracking mode commonly referred to as "world tracking" in computer vision (visual odometry). It continuously generates a map as you move, but the background must remain static for it to function effectively. Our team is currently developing this mode for our webAR SDK.
However, there is a slight correction to be made, Marques. When you switch to travel mode, it deactivates world tracking, not the gyroscope. What you are experiencing is commonly known as Gyro Mode tracking. When you are moving, your AR essentially stays with you, and it utilizes accelerometer data as well for fine-tuning.
