I completely reject the term asylum seekers for uk purposes it currently stands. An asylum seeker is a person fleeing a war torn country, people crossing into the uk from France are not asylum seekers, France is not a war torn country, they left war 6 or 7 countries ago, now they are looking to settle in a place of their choosing that would make them migrants and if they enter the country illegally then they are illegal migrants.
