As a piano learner, the basics of piano are probably the easiest out there, but if you want to really really be good at piano it turns a lot more complicated that other instuments imo (I’ve been playing piano, guitar, uke and drums)

Triangle actually has a surprising amount of technique to it, along with most percussion instruments. but for basics, we’re probably the easiest next to piano.

I’d say that the piano is easy to learn but hard to master. Because of the sheer amount of notes there are, I’d say it’s also one of the more complicated instruments. Learning to play the violin seems much harder tho, taking years to master.

Took me about 10 minutes to play a simple song on violin. It was slow, a touch out of tune, but I played it. I play trumpet normally. Maybe it gets difficult, but it's not that hard.

I picked up my friend’s violin, had a look at it, and played twinkle twinkle. Never touched a violin.

As a professional triangle player, the triangle is actually a very hard and challenging instrument to play, from the way you hit the triangle to the way you hit the triangle, and the way you hit the triangle, because if you enjoy the triangle differently it makes the same sound as if you hit it differently.

I mean the learning curve will be different for each instrument for example basic guitar is really easy but when it gets complicated shit gets hard. It also depends on the person and the style and all that stuff.

I'll have you known as a professional triangle player, the triangle is an instrument that can take decades to master. Their are so many factors like size of instrument, dynamic, thickness of beater, open technique close technique, and rolls. Additionally we must hold our instruments in a very specific way or clip it to our stands. We often also must play this in conjunction with other instruments. Us triangle players deserve justice. Sure, in a few minutes you may be able to teach a 6 year old to play triangle, but to truly master the gruelling instrument it will take decades to get the perfect ring. (For those who think I'm actually pressed, yes its satirical Karin)

Drums are easy to learn, but once you get high up (Especially with DCI) the music is so much more difficult than the winds. They have quarter notes while the bass drums are hand-to-hand splitting 6lets at ungodly speeds

Earlier this year (Mid August) my Band director said we needed more Trombones (this is Wind Symphony)(we had 4 Euphs, 2 Tubas, and 2 Trombones) so me and my friend (also a Euph) switched to Trombone, about a week in, we could do 16ths, he got 1st Chair, and I got 2nd or 3rd.
