The musical intro being vergils battle theme after faking you out in the previous fight, basically announcing that neither side was really trying. Its as good as it gets. Much as I love Neros "FUCK YOU" making silver bullet blare, bury the light is unbeatable.

It’s pure nostalgia but Nelo Angelo, I played DMC1 when I was 11 and just the rhythm and parrying blew my mind, I’d never seen swords clash like that in a video game before and twenty years on I still get hyped for this fight

People say Vergil doesn't love Dante, but this is how they show their love for each other, they fight because that's their oldest memory of each other with them fighting, I mean both of them had the opportunity to kill each other but they never really did at most it's them nothing each other out if anything this is just them doing what they do best fighting their sibling rivalry never ended if anything it's just grown stronger.

So thats how that video was made, i have the se edition but didnt finished with vergil, and years ago i saw the last battle, the guy starts with dante after taking a quarter of vergil hp , the gameplay changes to vergil continuing from that remained hp and so on 4 switches total, and back then i believed that was the true fight from the game, showing they are now equals, the editing on that was brilliant
