I remember in my old school the kids never took drills seriously so in 5th grade they showed us real footage of a school shooting and we saw two kids die. That made everyone understand how serious drills can be.

My School set fire once. The teacher screamed, because the fire started 3 classes away. We had to climb OUT of the Window but my class was on the second floor. So, she locked the door and opened 1 window , and Then we all searched for supplies that would create some sort of ladder, we did eventually find : 9 cloths and Towels,also ripped the tall Curtain, and eventually tied them all together, but by the Time we had that it took like 4 minutes to do, so the door was burning off.. the sprinklers were Down. We all climbed Down the tied cloths , Towels and the curtains...
And Then we were safe. But, not the Whole School . . .
The class Where the fire started, wasnt safe. All the children, in that class, passes away in the worst possible Way .
The fire occured because:
Next to the class there is a teacher room, with a kitchen , and a teacher was Warming up Their food while the other teachers were in the same room, it was break , our teacher and some others decided to Eat in the class. The microwave malfunctioned and caught flame, and it was a Big flame. 2 teachers passed and the others were injured . . . The microwave and all the other Electronics of the kitchen were connected to the piping of the other class , so that class caught flame fast and their teacher wasn't with them , so the class had to figure it out themselves. They couldnt figure it out. . . . .
My best friend, Agni, was in that class.

To the people who are calling the drills stupid
Shooting : âthe shooter took that same classâ- yeah. The point of the drill isnât to play dumb and try to trick the shooter. Itâs to try and blend in because like it or not somebody is going to get hurt and every teacherâs job is to hope itâs not their class that gets shot up.
Fire : Imagine this. Everyone is running and crying. Vs everyone is organized and out the building. Itâs probably not gonna work that way but itâs best to be as organized as possible so itâs easy to locate whoâs safe and whoâs still in there
Severe Weather: what do you want them to do? That bend down thing is the safest possible option. Most schools put you in a classroom near the middle of the school first floor. Thatâs really all they can do

my friend was once in a shooting, and she was so smart. She put blood on herself and acted dead. She was on the top level, and her classroom was near the emergency exit. But the shooter came into her class, but she was prepared. Her friends died. RIP đŞŚ

The first school shooting that happened to me was in 3rd grade, we hid for hours until they went away and I was too young to really understand what was happening but it stilled scared the crap outta me. The 2nd one wasnât in my school, but in a school thatâs literally 1 minute away, my sister was in THAT BUILDING and I honestly thought she wasnât gonna make it. I was twelve years old, almost about to sob on the library floor, everyone made it on the first shooting but not the 2nd one, R.I.P. to whoever didnât make it, and my heart goes out to them âĽď¸

there was a code red in my school in like january, they didnt make an announcement saying âcode redâ though, they sent the teachers a notice telling them to clear the halls and get all students into a classroom as fast as possible. me and my friends were all rushed into a classroom by a teacher, and were told to sit down and be silent. we didnât know what was going on until they turned out the lights and locked the doors. then we knew that someone was in the school. everyone realized at about the same time that this wasnât a drill, and the teacher literally started crying and praying. everyone in the room was trying to be as silent as possible. some kids started crying, some were like hyperventilating, and some were sitting there shaking. me and all my friends were sitting at the very back of the classroom huddling as close together as possible. iâll never forget that day and the feeling of pure terror that i felt in that moment. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE i cannot stress it enough, take it from someone who has been through a time when it was not a drill, TAKE THE DRILLS SERIOUSLY! ITS NOT A JOKE!

In America, most drills are just something kids laugh and joke about school shootings, but for me I always pray and just accept that it might be my last day.

Tip for when youâre in a school shooting
1. Cover yourself in blood if someone dead beside u or somewhere near you
2. Stay absolutely silent
3. If you have a bulletproof backpack cover yourself with it
4. If they say it is not a drill you need to literally pay attention
5. Donât goof around to get yourself or anyone else dead
6. If you have a phone, put it on do not disturb or silent bc thatâs how u kill urself and donât try to call 911 bc this one girl at Robb elementary or sandy hook got caught and then killed so do not do that!
