Very good. So many people get sick from drinking dirty water only because they don’t have the knowledge to treat the water even if they have all the stuff to treat the water or disinfect it so it’s safe to drink. I wish there were more people that would share their knowledge so others can also benefit and make life a little easier. I want to thank you for showing me how to disinfect the water safely with so little effort and supplies.

This is brilliant, but the idea of nanoplastics, microplastics, and polychlorinated biphenyls (i.e. PCBs) in the water, scare me.... but when it's either drinking the water or dying from dehydration... I guess I'd be drinking that water. This was an awesome idea sir, great video. Please be well. 🤔

Sergio is not implying this is ideal; it’s a survival method using commonly found items without too much effort, in addition to the very basic tools he carries with him in the field - a pocketknife and a fire starter.
I may have looked for some scrap of aluminum foil or metal as a conductive shield for the plastic bottle, or, if there was enough, to make a tube between the glass bottle and plastic one. If there’s enough trash in the woods to find empty alcohol containers and water bottles, foil scraps probably won’t be too far away.😋
Thanks, Sergio.
Here in Alaska, your suggestions could be particularly useful to folks out hiking without supplies

It's much cleaner than filtered water. One problem is , the plastic bottle is toxic with heating.
