Here is a description of the Coconut Cream Mango from Tropical Acres Farms website
www.tropicalacresfarms.com/product-page/coconut-cr…

Coconut Cream was selected by Gary Zill from his breeding program in Boynton Beach, FL. It is one of only a few patented mangos in existence, and was a cross between the 'Edward' and 'Gary'.

It has become famous for its pronounced coconut flavor coupled with a rich sweetness. This trait has made Coconut Cream a very highly demanded mango; unfortunately the production from the trees thus far has been somewhat disappointing. They have developed a reputation for taking a long time to start producing well, possibly 5 to 7 years in many cases. This can be due to producing too many male flowers and also from dropping excessive amounts of developing fruit when the trees are still young. Evetually Coconut Cream can become reasonably productive however.

The fruit are medium sized, oval shaped with a bumpy surface and yellow, developing some pinkish blush.

The flesh is soft, light yellow, fiberless and goes overripe rather quickly. The seed is small and polyembryonic.

The trees have rather unwieldy, spreading growth habits and are fairly vigorous growers. They are early/mid-season mangos, ripening primarily from June through July.

Due to the active patent, we do not produce Coconut Cream trees or sell scions from them, but we do sell the fruit.

I have a coconut cream mango tree on my property out in western FtPierce that's about 3 yrs old now. It's about 7 ft tall now and doing Great. I haven't had any mangos on it yet but hopefully next year I'll see some results of my care for it.

Hey Paul what's up. Been watching your stuff for 3 years now. I'm in Citrus county 9a and b and you have me on a mission to eat mango and avocado from MY backyard. So far I have a karen Michelle, and a catalina in the ground and Gary, carrie, joey and brogdon grafted in pots waiting to take. I would love to get your advice and tips on some stuff. Is that possible ?
