Modern smartphone company focus more on software like AI instead of the hardware. So that's why instead of making bigger battery, bigger display, and etc, they focus more on making a better cpu because AI needs a powerful cpu.

I don't like the full body display interrupted by notch or punch hole with too much rounded corners. Display without notch or punch hole with less or no rounded corners & front facing stereo speakers is way better

I had that one friend still using the S10 Plus, even until now that phone still looking great. The phone is pretty much using a custom ROM, which is quite rare nowadays. Didn't even bother upgrading, although nowadays Samsung midrange definitely beat this on performance but still had better camera and a display with HDR and a ultrasonic fingerprint.

We had a chance to innovate when Project Ara was a thing. Imagine just upgrading components instead of the whole phone?
Also I'd love it if the phone manufacturers bring back the removable battery and memory expansion.
