That's why you leave the man at first slap. Heck if you sense even verbal abuse, don't even wait for that first slap. You can't fix monsters and is not you job. But in her case i get it, she was involved with a powerful man. In such cases you really feel you have nowhere to hide...still try whatever you can but don't let yourself become a punching bag

Watching this podcast nearly made me physically ill. This beauty gave him all her power. She kept trying to "help" or "fix" him. Think it was 12hrs of continuously being beaten to death. You can't help anyone change who doesn't want to. The 1st time you're hit, shoved, kicked - RUN! Don't look back. I didn't. Never seen or spoke to him again. Filed for divorce asap.Now, 40+yrs later, I've lived a happy life. Because I RAN & never looked back!
