*SOLVED* Replaced Duralast ignition coil with Subaru coil.

2008 Subaru Impreza 2.5i, MT, 197k on body, approx. 75k on the engine.

-Battery replaced 01/2020 and has high CCA (685). Tests at ~12V.
-Alternator is good. Voltage and continuity pass. Fuse is good.
-Starter replaced on 2/08/21.
-The fuel pump seems to work good, and fuse is good.
-Oil changed a few months ago.
-Ignition coil replaced 2/06/21 because why not. Connections test out good.
-Spark plugs and wires changed on 1/14/21 -Engine grounds are good. Extras were added 01/2020 as precaution.
-Replaced the positive battery cable that goes from starter to battery on 2/06/21.
-Replaced ECT (engine coolant temperature) sensor 2/09/21.
-Fuel pump seal/gasket replaced 03/2021 -Injectors replaced 5/10/2021.
-EJ253 engines does not have a fuel pressure regulator.
-If the fuel pump is original, it has 198.5k on it and I have never replaced it. I also have put 80k miles on the car since I bought it 7 years ago.
-Fuel filter is in fuel pump assembly.

The car started fine when it sat for 3 days in the Polar Vortex temps of -20F and -45F wind chill that happened in Feb. 2019

I don't even know what we're looking at lol. My sons 08 WRX will sometimes stall at idle. Fuel filter? Weak pump? injectors???....

I have the same issue when I dont wait enough time after switching the key. It only can be seen in summer. Does it mean that I will have to change fuel pump? Impreza Gh 2.0

From the description, as this was solved quite some time ago:
Replaced Duralast ignition coil with Subaru coil.

It is probable the fuel injectors I had the same problem with my 2006 impreza

I see you mentioned the aftermarket coil was the issue, but you should be able to hear your fuel pump prime in the few seconds after switching the key to 'run'.

Fuel pumps in these cars are sold as an entire sender unit, so unless you wanna get down and dirty with part numbers and drench your clothes in fuel, it'll be a pricey item. Luckily for you, it was the coil!

Question. Did your engine die in middle of driving? Got power to interior but not to engine or lost it now it wants to sort of crank
Have similar issue I believe thought it was starter or alternator

Low let the resistance clear first uauu off. Corse first tur the key let the rpm goes all the way and back and then star lol 😂
